On November 15, the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee is scheduled to mark-up HR 6249, the Think Differently About Emergencies Act." The bill, sponsored by Rep. Marc Molinaro (NY-19-R), would require FEMA to report on the assistance and resources provided to individuals with disabilities (and their families) impacted by major disasters. Members of IAEM's Access and Whole Community Inclusion Caucus provided feedback on the bill during the drafting process.
