The House Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management will conduct a hearing on May 1 at 10:00 ET to review the effectiveness and costs of FEMA's resilience programs. This subcommittee has primary jurisdiction over FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security's other disaster management responsibilities as well as the Stafford Act and its mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery programs.
The Deputy Administrator for Resilience, Victoria Salinas, will be testifying on behalf of FEMA.
