IAEM has received an opportunity to participate in a National Level Exercise (NLE) program listening session to be scheduled with IAEM, BCEM, and NEMA separately in the coming weeks. For background, the National Exercise Division is hoping to connect with stakeholders to continue to improve the design and delivery of NLEs, ensure that they are producing relevant outcomes that are impactful and valuable, and hear from SLTTs about real-world experiences and how NLEs currently meet the mark or may be improved.
We are looking for a group of folks to represent IAEM in this listening session with strong experience with exercises, and experience with a previous NLE in your region is a plus. Please email me at USAPresident@iaem.com if you are interested in participating. In your email, provide a short overview of your exercise program experience and if you've participated in a previous NLE, TOPOFF, Capstone, etc. Once I get a list of folks, I'll work with the Government Affairs Committee to put together a roster for the event.
