IAEM has endorsed the FEMA Act (H.R. 4669) and sent the attached letter of endorsement to the House T&I Committee.  The Committee is tentatively planning to consider the bill on September 3.  More on that to come.

The House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee is scheduled to consider the FEMA Act (H.R. 4669) on September 3 at 10:00 ET.  IAEM has endorsed the bill (see attached letter).

The bill is expected to be reported favorably to the House floor where it will await a vote.  The path forward after that is unclear, but tomorrow's markup is a big step forward.

The GAC appreciates the bipartisan nature of this bill and for all of the hard work by committee staff to solicit stakeholder feedback and buy-in!
