Welcome to the IAEM DEI Community Page
In February 2024, the IAEM-USA Board of Directors received the DEI recommendations report following a year-long engagement with a consulting firm. During its annual meeting in April, the board examined each of the recommendations and began making plans for moving forward. In this Community, we will track the current status of the overall goals and each of the recommendations.
At the top of the page will be the current status of each of the goals tracked for the DEI initiative. As you can see, all 11 goals are in progress, and the graphic will be updated as the Task Force makes progress towards each of the goals. More details about each goal will be provided once the Task Force begins work.
Updates will be provided on this page regularly, to ensure an open and transparent process moving forward. Let's get to work!
